Our Mission & Goals

Preserving craftsmanship through research, collaboration, and sustainable markets.

Mission

Heritage Crafts Research MTÜ is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting and promoting traditional crafts as a vital part of cultural heritage and the modern economy. Our mission is to enhance the visibility, value, and demand for handmade products — both locally and internationally — so that artisans can thrive through their work.

Vision

We see a world where the value of things is defined not by the speed of their production, but by the depth of human involvement. Today, as manual work becomes a rarity, it gains a new meaning — turning into art, into an act of resistance against uniformity. Heritage Crafts Research creates the conditions for this awareness to grow: craftsmanship stops being nostalgia and becomes a driving force of cultural renewal.
